At SHSD, we’re working to combat climate change by guiding others towards sustainability.
Our mission is to spread information about sustainable housing to help others make informed decisions when constructing or remodeling their homes. At SHSD, we hope to spark change in San Diego to create a more connected, environmentally aware community.
Knowledge is Power.
We employ intuition and creativity to implement change. We believe in making information about sustainable housing publicly available to everyone in our city, and want to raise awareness for others to take environmental action.
Community-Driven.
As a nonprofit focused on community, we help people in all walks of life. We provide support and information, regardless of background, race, ethnicity, or income class. If somebody needs help with their sustainable home, we’re available.
